I have a "Bose" benzel where the gain switch is that shown in your pictures. What exactly was that gain switch for?

that gain switch is for the amp that was found in the 92-95 8 speaker delco systems....you have the Bose system and the amp has a differnet setup than the Delco

Finally bought my digital camera today.. i got new pic of the base *** out of its shell take a look ....

Bottom Side Cover OFf

How about you cut the trim piece just under the radio (usualy where the BOSE sign is) and mount it there? That would be perfect if you have nothing there currently.
