Default Air Bag Light

Hi All,

I just swapped steering wheels on my 97 and 98 G.P.'*. Now I get an airbag light on both cars. Any ideas? I kept the same air bag with the car.

It'* probably not making a connection somewhere between the bag and steering wheel.

Question I must ask, why play with the SIR system?

Normaly I would touch the things but it is hard to change steering wheels without going near it. The steering wheel on my 98 was nicer then on my 97 car and I plan to keep the 97. I find it strange that both cars now have the light on? I was careful mot to mess with the clockspring assembly, however I'm beginning to wonder if I somehow damaged it with the wheel puller?
