Default air bag light came on need to reset it

this weekend i replaced the steering wheel column and now the air bag light is on. how do i shut it off?

did you make sure to plug all the wires back in. especially a yellow wire which connects the airbag

just checking. i pulled out my air bag out because i had a light that wouldnt go off. i later found out it was a bad air bag coil and not the bag

going to the dealer is the only way you can reset thel light

try alec_b'* adive and wait it out for 30mins . my light went out after a while after fixing the coil without going to the dealer.

resetting the airbag light is a hole different ball game

a SES light is different than a Airbag light

Some non dealer mechanics also have the ability through their scan tools to reset these.

but none the less most dont because of the cost for the Scanner

the dealer is the sure thing instead of from mechanic to mechanic asking with they have a scanner capable of do it
Fast and Ez go to the dealer
