Aftermarket Stereo in the GXP - Page 3 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

I don't have the iPod capability though so you'd still be without.

Just for information, the interface I was thinking of is the iPAC-OEM.

Products Detail

There is another cable required to make it work in the 2K+ Bonneville. They only show it works for 2000-04, but there is no difference between the 04 and 05 so there'* reason it shouldn't work in an '05.

Cool, a good deal isn't a bad thing.

Kind of figured you were heading that direction but I thought I'd throw it out just for info and anyone else who may be watching the thread.

I expect you will need some sort of mounting kit and/or hardware because the Bonneville radios clip into the dash. This isn't a really common mounting technique. I'm not sure where to send you for this other than you might see what you can find at Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Audio, Home Theater, Speakers, Plasma TV. They stock a lot of these sorts of items.

Looking forward to seeing your write-up. Take lots of pictures!
