I don't have the iPod capability though so you'd still be without.

Just for information, the interface I was thinking of is the iPAC-OEM.

Products Detail

There is another cable required to make it work in the 2K+ Bonneville. They only show it works for 2000-04, but there is no difference between the 04 and 05 so there'* reason it shouldn't work in an '05.

oh yea i see what you mean... i think saw that before..
but i think i made up my mind.. getting the pioneer AVH-P4000DVD.. my friend works at future shop he gets it for cost plus 10%.. so around 360 bucks which is not bad

i see what you mean..

im ordering my harness tonight online and everything i need for it...

any idea if i need a fitting kit?

also im gonna do a nice write up with all the parts im using for people looking to install it and retain all the other features

I expect you will need some sort of mounting kit and/or hardware because the Bonneville radios clip into the dash. This isn't a really common mounting technique. I'm not sure where to send you for this other than you might see what you can find at Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Audio, Home Theater, Speakers, Plasma TV. They stock a lot of these sorts of items.
