Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

It may be the 12 year old system.

I found that replacing only the HU and leaving everything else made a nice improvement. Surely speakers would improve further.

Not sure what you can replace with. We have dual voice coils or some kind of crazy deal in the back as well as the tweeters.

I put in my touch screen jensen 9311TS and the factory speakers absolutely pound! My trunk rattles and people at school think I have subs lol. I used to have a kenwood KDC-138 and it looked very nice with all the red of my dash lighting

Well, Im not too sure about the size of the speakers with the bose system in the 97s. My 97 SE has 5.25 door speakers and 6X9s. Like I said.... I really dont know about the size of the door speakers for the Bose system..
