Default speaker replacement for 97ssei with bose?

i wanted to know what kind of speakers are you guys using with this setup?i am not going to replace the factory radio or amplifier if i dont have to? rthe bose system sucks the highs arent that clear and there isnt any lows at all.

It may be the 12 year old system.

I found that replacing only the HU and leaving everything else made a nice improvement. Surely speakers would improve further.

Not sure what you can replace with. We have dual voice coils or some kind of crazy deal in the back as well as the tweeters.

do u know of any good headunits with a red screen to match the dash or a factory radio that would give me better sound and heep the steering wheel controls.

I put in my touch screen jensen 9311TS and the factory speakers absolutely pound! My trunk rattles and people at school think I have subs lol. I used to have a kenwood KDC-138 and it looked very nice with all the red of my dash lighting

what size speakers are in the front doors? i heard they were 4x6 but i am not sure on a bose system if they are 4x6 what other speaker can i put in there.

Well, Im not too sure about the size of the speakers with the bose system in the 97s. My 97 SE has 5.25 door speakers and 6X9s. Like I said.... I really dont know about the size of the door speakers for the Bose system..
