Default 2016 Enclave radio swap - mystery connection

Hello all

I just swapped out the stock Delphi HU for a new Kenwood. Everything seems to be working (to be fair, it'* been less than 30 minutes), but as I was double checking all the connections, there is one connection on the OEM unit that I didn't have a place for on the new one - or, at least I couldn't figure it out.

Does anyone know what this is for?

Default Thank you

I wonder why aftermarket kits don't take advantage of it. Oh well. Appreciate the info!

Proprietary. OEM manufacturers only want their equipment to connect to their equipment.

I guess I can see that and it makes sense. But the aftermarket HUs connect to all the other mess of wires coming out from under the dash
