well you will want to get 5.25 speakers for the front doors and 6x9'* in the back...but be warned the 6x9'* in the back are a DVC design and have a factory 'amp' on them, so you will have a harder time converting them over...

as for a HU its all up to personal preference...i like any HU that retains the orange/red look

Pat - I need your help... but you live too far.

Buy polk audio speakers... stay away from infinity. Get a pair of the db components and some db 6x9'*
a simple pioneer HU would be good.

I went with Altec Lansing 3-way 6x9" in the back and Altec Lansing 5 1/4" component speakers in the front in my 1992 SSEi. The bass is so incredible from the 6x9s that I dont even need to have subs. Check out my car domain page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2305599

Theres allot that goes into this quetion. How much money do you want to spend? Do you want to be able to perform upgrades down the road?

Typically, 6X9'* will fit in the rear deck and a one din Head Unit will fit in the stock location with a GM mount kit.

As far as Sepcific Models, that all depends on how much you have to spend and what type of set up your looking to achieve.
