Hey everybody, I am undertaking the task of trying to get Pontiac to do a recall on the power window regulators.

I would like to get the VIN numbers of the people who have had this problem.

I know it would be one heck of a big post so if the admins, or moderators have any suggestions I would very much like to hear them. I have already e-mailed Willwren so he will be informed as to my plan.

I feel like if Pontiac see that this is a widespread problem and recognizes that we are a legitmate group, they may listen. I have already spoken with the parts manager at one of our local dealers and he provided the 800 number to customer service.

We can give it a try all they can do is say no.

All I have to say is good luck. GM can be VERY hard to deal with.

What year pontiacs had problems with the window regulators? I know the 87 thr 91 bonnevilles always had problems with the windows being very slow, but the window always managed to make its way up! On my 95, the drivers side window tends to stick when in the closed position when you want to open it. Other than that I've never had problems with 1 window regulator in all the bonnies I've owned 92 thu 98.

Well from what I can tell it is mostly the 00+. That is what I've noticed it the most with.
And, my car is an 02.
