You will love HPtuner, best $500 I ever spent on my car. We have several members here now using HPtuner, including me, billboost, and purplehaizer.

Good to know. Hopefully the learning curve isn't to steep, but it'* always good to have a few people who have been through it before.

Thats good, first question is how essential is an Wideband o2 sensor to properly tuning these motors?

I have a little experience with general engine tuning so I should be good for most basic stuff. (MAF Tables, Shift Tables, Injector swaps and such)

How good do you want it tuned? If your looking for the best tune possible, then get a wide band. If you just looking at a basic tune, you can get by without it.

There is a tone of information about tuning with HPT, when you get to that point, we will get you started.

I've got my wide band set up to go in at the 3" down tube. The wide band are equipped with an on-off switch, so you won't be running it all the time - only when you're tuning.
