To be mentioned, the LIM does not need to come off in order for the stovepipe to be changed. Only the UIM/throttle body which could probably be moved back a few inches and reinstalled w/o unhooking absolutely everything.

I plan on doing the LIM gaskets anyways.
I was at the parts store just a bit ago and I'm pretty sure i found the Help! tubes. They were $2.99 for a package of two. Do I just need one package or two?

Overall..there aren't any mods I'd suggest at this point. We had a three test cases for porting lower intake manifolds and two blew motors quickly afterward.
beside kdg which other engine blew. i don t see how a ported LIM can blow a engine

Mike's1995 was the other. While it doesn't seem that one should, you only quoted part of my statement. IIRC I mentioned one was a possible borquing of LIM issue. Until we can get more data from the two, it is suggested not to mod the lower.as a safetly precaution.
