Default Thermostat

Hey guys,

Does anyone know a part number for the 180 degree thrmostat from a local parts store....such as napa, autozone, or advance? I put on my 3.5" pulley and getting a miss at high rpm, I've been busy so I haven't had time to look at it. So, I've just been taking it easy and keeping out of the boost as much as possible. Do you think it could have anything to do with the therostat? Was also thinking about getting some colder plugs and gapping them at .55, which brand do you all reccomend? Also, I guess while I'm doing this I'm gonna need to check fuel pressure and scan for kr...I think Lash said he has a scanner...maybe I could meet up with him one evening. And yes, I do have a FWI intake...so I'm guessing that isn't the cause of the miss.

i dont think the Thermo is causing the miss...but you just have to ask for a 180* replacement, IIRC they are less that $5

get the plugs in the car because that is prolly causing the miss

NGK tr55'* or some Autolites are the recommended around here

Also, check your vacuum fittings, paying close attention to the "T" under the supercharger snout that goes to the FPR and the MAP sensor, as well as the blocked off vacuum fitting on top of the supercharger.

ok....few updates! Advance doesn't have the 180 degree thermo, so I'll have to check with napa or ricerzone tomorrow. Also, my car has 90k on it with the original wires....which advance would have had to order, so I'll get them tomorrow as well. The good news....my miss is gone after installing the iridium ngk'* with the .55 gap, bad news is...I ripped one of the plug wires in half....so I had to put one off of our built 350 super stock'* motor that we run at new smyrna...and it popped off after driving about 2 miles
