SuperCharger belt pulleys are noisy
2001 SSEI,
Are there any good pulleys to use as replacements? Also, I'm not sure how these tensioners work? I have read that they use a T-50 and are reverse threaded. So how do you loosen the tensioner to remove the belt and then remove the three pulleys?
I can see a tiny bit of wobble in #3 pulley.

Some cars have the T50 torx and others have a 15mm bolt. You will loosen the belt by going towards the rear of the car with the wrench. ZZ performance has a good selection of after market pulleys.

I had a smaller set but found the T-50 at PEP boys for 3.99.
Will pick up the pulleys from a NAPA auto parts store later today and also get some super charger oil and remove and replace the supercharger oil at the same time.
From what I've read it sounds like I tighten the tensioner to loosen it up. Remove the belts and loosen all of the reverse threaded torx bolts for all of the pulleys to remove them.

I found the following link for a 2001 GTP. Apparently for the GTP there is only one left handed thread on the Serpentine tension pulley. All others are right handed, inlcuding the super charger tensioner? Does anyone know if this is true for the Bonneville? Practically the same engine and same layout.

Very easy, It turns out there were two left handed threaded bolts in the case of my 2000 SSEI, from the above chart pulleys 3 and 8. I only replaced pulley 9 as the pulleys i got from Napa were made in China and # 3 wasn't even close to fitting with the stock torx head bolt and special washer plate. Since it was so easy I will replace when needed and with stock or a quality after market part.
