Default Replaced supercharger belt and idler pulleys

Had my alternator scheduled for rebuild because a squeal started. Last night the squeal stopped, so this morning I popped the hood to have a look see. The supercharger belt was half on the supercharger pulley, and looking lower I saw this.

Grabbing the belt it looked like this.

Guess my squeal wasn't from my alternator. 224,000 miles and still going strong!

Here'* the idler out. You have to remove the torque-axis mount, which means you have to remove the power steering pump. The idler that was bad is directly behind\infront of the t/a mount. I also replaced the other idler pulleys while I was in there.

In case your yelling at your monitor, I replaced the belts too. (thought that would be a given)

Holy smokes! That pulley has seen better days.

Isn't it funny that you know things aren't right when the stop making noises? lol. I get nervous when my ABS light turns OFF

Holy Shitake Mushrooms, batman. Worse than you described.

I thought you said they were metal? That'* a traditional oem plastic jobber there. Never seen a failure like it before, and hope I never do again.

Damn!!!! That thing has been through better day for sure. Looks like there was some lethal friction going on there.
One of my idler pulleys (the inside one on the shaft with the two pulleys straight under the alt) went out on me a couple weeks ago -I thought it was my Alternator, until my brother called to say the whole pulley was disinegrated and the belt completely shredded.
