OK, so I called up the PartsZoneOnline people, they're based out of a dealership in PA, and reassured me that they are still in business. My parts were ordered from GM and should arrive there in another day or two (or three). Once they recieve the parts they'll bill my credit card and ship them out to me. So in theory everything is going along nicely. I'll let you all know when I get the goods or if they try to full something in regards to shipping costs.

well, came today...8 days after I placed the order. Not too bad considering it had to be shipped to the dealer before it was shipped to me. I got this receipt saying grand total of $87...notice that it'* a grand total...but the receipt included with it says $134....$47 for shipping via UPS Next Day Air Saver. Will I be fighting this? You bet I will. Nowhere was I advised of what the shipping fee would be, no emails or phone calls were received, and I have my original receipt from right after the order that shows a grand total, not a subtotal. I don't know if they'll do anything for me, but you can bet I'm sure going to try. For those of you just coming in I ordered mine from partszoneonline.com.

Oh, it did come in a box, one they made by taping other boxes together, but a box none the less. So that'* where I'm at, sucker is going on Saturday barring bad weather.

I'm not sure of the bolt size but a 13 mm socket fits the head and they are 50 mm (2") long. 8.8 high strength. Torque to about 30 ft-lbs.
Remember that you will probably have to bend the end connectors a bit so you have about 3/16"-1/4" clearance to the alternator.
