Default speedometer problem

i have a 2004 bonneville today i noticed that the speedometer shows that im doing double what i actually am. thats the only issue ive noticed any help would be great

My guess is he has it set on Kilometers Per Hour rather than Miles Per hour..

I use that button to impress the ladies. "Check out how fast i'm going"..."WOW!!" lol doesn't work on the smart ones though.
