I'm not exactly sure, which is why I posted it verbatim from the service ticket. VTD sounds seperate from the PCM....but the fact that I lost my personalization indicated a PCM reprogram.

The personalization is stored in the BCM (Body Control Module). I'm not sure if this module holdes the VATS or not in it but I do not think so as we tripped the VATS while doing pcm work. They may have just done both PCM and BCM upgrades in which case you would have lost any custom pcm programming.

Well i don't want to lose my PCM programming at the dealer! We will have to figure out something else.

Thanks for this thread... What it tells me is that I'm gonna' just hit the reset button a couple of times a year.

I'm still going to claim the machine has had zero problems

yeah i have the same problem with the ervice theft system also. It only seems to do it when it is cold and my cars is idling and i lock the doors. i also found that if you click through the differant screens on the display it will go away. Is there anyway to fix this. please let me know.
