Haro, you could try having the dealer reprogram your EBCM first before buying a new one...I'm sure those babies are not cheap.

what does that consist of, do you know? Possiblity of writing over the INTENSE PCM?

no the EBCM can be programmed Via the Tech 2......it would have no effect on the PCM

i bought a nice digital multimeter today.

I redid the readings, they came in perfect:

850-1350 Ohms of resistance across the WSS
100 mV of AC voltage while spinning

I am convinced this is an EBCM issue that I will have the dealer look at tomorrow.. for a price :(

bought it to the dealer today. They said it would be $57 to have the EBCM preprogrammed, and that MIGHT not even fix it.

He said he has seen the EBCM'* go bad much more than needing them reprogrammed. So, I am on the hunt for a used EBCM. I know Ed has one, but I am looking for a better price.

I will get the new (used) EBCM, install it, see if that fixes the problem. If it does not, I will have the EBCM programmed.
