no check engine lights, I am up in the air on what to do, it seems to be a little over full on fluid, maybe a 1/2 in on the dipstick, but it seemed perfect before the trip. also when i checked it hot last night the were a few bubbles on the top portion, but no burnt smell what so ever.

Trey,
With what you posted earlier about the crank sensor codes this makes sense. Your transmission can act up with a bad crank sensor... It'* time to get the crank sensor replaced.

well, we limped it home. i timed the gas stops and made it in 3 stops. & avged 26mpg on the way home. I will get it to my tranny guy and let you guys know what i find out.
