post accident grinding
My wife went wheel to wheel on ice, impact on the drivers side. Replaced the tire(slashed) and wheel bearing (grinding), but there is still a grinding sound when the wheel is turned right all the way on the drivers side. CV shaft? Any ideas? Thanks.

Turn it hard right, jack it up, and turn the wheel to see if you can find the rub. Look at the brake dust shield. Look for anything that is shiney from rubbing.

Also may as well make sure the stabilizer bar link didn't break from the control arm. That can cause some noise when turning, often a clunk sound. May not be related to your noise, but a common failure item that is worth a quick check. Mine snapped when a curb was hit with the front passenger side tire.
