My 97 bonne won't start and just makes this low but lound grinding noise when I do try to start it. It won't turn over at all.

Sounds like your starter isnt connecting to the flywheel 100%, if at all.

Yep, I need a new starter, yippy! How hard are they to change out, where is it and are there any directions with diagrams on it anywhere online?

I will just have to do that...too bad my starter didn't wait until Jan 26th, I could've gotten it fixed for free then! Oh well, my daughter is a pretty handy mechanic and wants to have a try at it. She is the one who said it was the starter in the first place....lol

Colville WA? Hi neighbor. Check out the regional/national meets forum. We're getting together on the West Coast in Oregon this summer! Buy Chilton'* #28200. It'll walk you right through it.
