Chances are the window regulators are shot. Its a common problem for the 2000-05 c and h bodies.

Wow...

Mod...please move to 2000 Mechanical Section. The motor is trying..therefore the switch and motor appear to be good. Seems like the mechanicals of it are bound up.

Regulators on back windows are common. We've yet to see a front window regulator bad to my knowledge.

My suggestion would be to loosen the bolts holding the motor, and possibly grease it as well. There are threads on both...off to see if I can find them.

Here'* the grease it up thread (while being a 92-99, the motor is probably similar with the port)

I'll also schedule a visit from the Yellow M&M for you...he'* had the issue before.

Bill'* right. We've only had one report of a cable failure on the front window. When it fails, the window drops down. Several have used the method above that Bill quoted with success. Others have been lucky enough to free it up by giving the interior door panel a good smack while depressing the button.

You'll have to take the door panel off, it'* just held on with clips, then peel back the water deflector, and remove the 3 bolts that hold the motor on. That should free things up. Using a good silicone grease, you may want to lube things up while you're in there.
