This is the motor that turns the crank that opens the door that lets in the heat that warms the car that mremer drives....
that is still at the dealership.

So...the morning I went to drop off the car I checked up under the dash. Since I just installed my Jet Power Control Module and had the radio out and running all the wires I wanted to make sure I didn’t accidentally disconnect anything. I noticed when I turned on the heat this motor that was connected to a shaft that I could only assume be the door to allow heat in that everyone was talking about would just budge a little, and then not move. I mentioned this to the service manager when I dropped off the car. After two days of my car being at the Pontiac dealer, and being fed "intake" lines from the Service manager, they said they found the problem and that it was the actuator. I asked if that was the little motor that blah blah blah, he said "yes". I reminded him that I already told him that, he said "bubba, if you did we would've had your car back to you the same day you dropped it off"
Morons! Thank gawd for my warranty company...$50 deductible, the repair total was close to $300 ($52 part, the rest "labor")...
So: thats the end of that.....

glad you got it fixed. i had kendra drop my car off to have the front driver wheel bearing checked out. She told them, "my husband is almost sure its the wheel bearing". A day later they called said "Its your wheel bearing, that will be 75 dollars diagnostic". I hate stealerships. Not going to be fun when my warranty runs out in a few years.

Good deal getting your car back. Yes, some of those Dealership Service Reps can be rough to communicate with. Sometimes it seems that you have to take them out to the car and point directly at the problem.
