Default No Heat

Ok gang, I've already made an appointment to drop my car off to get the heater checked but wanted to see if anyone would have any ideas as to the cause of the problem.

No Heat. Ac Works fine, no SES conditions, PCM reporting all ok! Car heating up regularly (coolant temp). No warm, medium, or hot air, nothing. Just cool/cold air. Just had oil changed last week and installed a JET Power Control Module over the weekend (currently disabled just to test). Any suggestions or ideas?

Air mix door problem. Either stuck, or lack of vaccum.

You got a JET PCM? How is it working for you? Do they make one for an SSEi?

this is the door that opens and closes for outside air right? I hear something close when I hit the re-circ button, is that it?

its not a PCM, its a power control module. Not nearly as complex, have'nt re-dynoed the car since I rewired it. Will do after heat prob is fixed.

No, the airmix door. It meters the amount of hot air coming from the core with ambient (inside or outside depending on recirc mode) air to produce the desired temperature. Yours sounds like it'* not allowing the door to move in order to get the hot air into the cabin.

You could check the heater core inlet & outlet hoses to see if they're getting warm. (verification that heater core has coolant flow)

Well, car is at the shop now. I did peer under the dash this AM to see if the door was opening at all, and the motor that turns the crank that opens the door (I guess) is'nt bugging more than a millimeter. My guess is its either not receiving a signal, or its busted. I am not ruling out the dial on the dash as being the culprit either...

Keep us posted. Sometimes the door will just get stuck, and need a little 'boost'. (In other words, smack the little sucker).

If your coolant level is low, it won't allow any heat to the cabin
