New: Rotors, Pads, and Sway bar bushings = no noise!
For the past month or so, there has been a pop in my front suspension somewhere. I figured this was just something getting tired in the front end, as my car has over 130,000 miles on it.
Well, on my trip to Lansing to work the other day, my front pads started to grind into the rotor (because the idiot that put them on last time (me) put both wear sensors on one wheel, but thats a long story)
While the car is jacked up in the air, the I notice that my sway bar is completely DETACHED.
This is what I found:
not good....
Luckily it was a very easy fix, and it now looks like this:
So anyway, at the end of all of this, I have new pads and rotors, and no angry/ mysterious sounds coming from the front end.
P.*. I forgot to reset the brakes after I finished everything.... I backed out of the driveway, missed my dads car (thank GOD) and hit the mailbox..... CRAP...

I replaced the brake lines on my friends GTO back in high school and forgot to bleed and pressurize the brakes properly. It hit the garage wall with the nose. Good thing they had those big rubber noses. This was in the seventies. My friend still has the '69 goat with the severely scratched nose.
Nice job on the bushings, BTW
