Default New rack, etc...

Well, on the way to the mechanic for yet more warranty work, the DIC said "service stability system". What timing. I assume from the sticky that it is the steering position sensor. Would this be the opinion of you other 00-05 owners? I am also having the rack replaced due to moaning and squak, and the passenger window quit. Oh, and they are going to check the coolong system that they just flushed for a leak as there MAY be an issue with coolant in oil. (But very unlikely according to responses from other post. )
I am realllllllly hoping this is the last of the issues for a while... I have had so much warranty work done. I guess I am venting, but what is next? If anyone reading this has doubted the value of a good warranty, don't! By the time this batch - o - problems is done, it will be about $4000+ under warranty. (I still owe $11,000 on this car!) It'* a good car, but my 89 SSE didn't have this much trouble this early on in its' life.

There are several things that can cause the stability system warning, but the steering position sensor is the most common cause. It'* possible that the rack is causing the moan in your steering, but there is a TSB on a new design for the power steering hoses Have them check this TSB number to see if it applies. This is just the first part of it.
