Default New exhaust tips

I received my new tips and am not sure what way to install them. They are off a 2004 Grand Prix. There is a left and a right-- one of the pipes is longer than the other and I am not sure if the long side goes on the inside or the out side. They look great and I am anxious to install them. By the way, they are going on a 2001 SSEi. Thanks for any help--Roger

Snap some pics so we can see what you see. I think I know what you are talking about and I believe that the longer side goes towards the outside of the car on either side.

You better take some pics once you get them installed! Where did you end up getting them from? How much?

Thanks for the reply. I believe these are the tips off of a new GPX Grand Prix. They are crome stainless steel with 2 small outlets on each side of the car. My problem is, there is a right and a left and I am not sure which is which. The only difference is that one of the outlets on each side is a 1/2" longer and I do not know if it goes on the inside or outside. By the way, I bought them off e-bay for $44 and it turned out the seller lived about 50 miles away in Ontario . Sorry--no camera. Thanks Roger

Oh ok... Yeah, now that I have a visual I see. I thought that the longer one should go to the outside if the exhaust wasn't coming straight back, which on an SSEi, it isn't straight 10" in from the bumper, it'* at an angle.
