Default need advice - resonator removal

would I see any improvement if I removed the resonator, maybe put a straight pipe in it'* place, and swapped the stock mufflers with high performance mufflers (leaving the stock exhaust manifolds and cat in place)???

just wondering if it would be worth my time?

there is no performance gain by removing the RES. It is designed to make the car quieter. I would leave it in, others have removed theres. different mufflers will make a difference, im sound and a small Perfromance gain

I'd say leave it. I ADDED one, as the 93 never came stock with it. I never noticed the difference in performance, but it really mellows out the sound. Less 'burbly'.
