Sounds like when you did the fluid and filter change you might have been missing a small gasket that goes on the filter. Not sure about the Bonnie, but that recently happened when I did a change on my Mustang. I thought sure the transmission was gone, but when I looked at the old filter I saw the gasket stuck to it that was missing from the new one. I did another filter and fluid change, and it is back to normal. Good luck!

Were you having the slipping problem before you did the fluid and filter change?

Good call, to change it again. I know my car'* transmission was slipping and not shifting right either, but the additional money for another change was well worth it. Besides it is not wasted as you only change a small part of the oil when you do a routine change. This way you will get newer fresh oil in there.

Make sure your fluid level is high in the trans. In fact we add an extra half quart above full just to make sure pressure is up and to help stop the pressure starving condition that happens when you make hard left turns (all the fluid goes to one side of the trans).

if you have an aftermarket air filter make sure it is not oversaturated with oil (like the K&N type). There is a GM TSB that refers to overly oiled aftermarket air filters causing shifting problems by affecting the reading of the MAF sensor. If that was'nt it do you recall the temperature of the engine? When mine gets hot (with OE thermostat), especially in the Florida summer months, I've noticed a tendancy for the vehicle to hard shift when going from Drive to Reverse, or Nuetral... Don't know if its related or not.
