Default Lowering

I have a 2k bonne and was wondering if there is any way to lower it about an inch? I'm assuming this would be costly due to the air bags and lack of suspension support.

U say airbags so im assuming you are talking about factory ELC. it is possible to install switches on the factory system to manually lower and raise the rear of the car. for the front you could install more bags or just cut the springs a little.

The only thing you can do to the ELC is jack it up all the way for racing, I don't think there is a way to lower it completely

I can't remember the thread we were talking about lowering, someone had a good guide to what needed to be done so you could use W body parts to lower the car since there are parts made for the GPs and Regals

cutting the springs would not be a good way to go

I know some people cut springs, but I personally wouldn't do it even if it was a last resort. I'd just ride monster truck height instead.

@Crunkfrunk--You are saying I could take out the bags and do coilovers from a W body?

Here'* a member who did it to a pre-2k Bonne. Process for the front to adapt the w-body suspension wouldn't be much different.

I was talking about the front, I'm not sure what you would do for the back beside bags
