Alright, I looked under my hood and that harness is routed up the firewall near the cabin air filter access, I have a non-supercharged engine though. There is clearance between the firewall and the power steering fluid reservior. Can you possibly move the harness closer to the firewall (push it aft) to gain access to the reservior cap? I'll try to look in the FSM for wiring harness routing and maybe come up with more information.

Thanks for the help guys. I was finally able to get it open and check the fluid levels and they appear fine. From the sounds and description of everything, it sounds like the intermediate shaft is the problem. The car also has the infamous trunk leak. My dad is taking it back to the dealership he bought it from and having them fix it under warranty.

i dont remember ever having any issue with it, but i check all my fluids regularly, so its possible that i moved it out of the way the first time i checked it..
