Good lord what a knuckle buster. I haven't had the car very long and I just had a pretty extensive tuneup, but was getting some vibration when making turns. So I thought I'd check the PSF: easy enough right? Good lord what a nuckle buster being that it is under the alternator. That'* one thing but a hose ran right across the top of the cap as well. It was a MOTHER to get on and off. It was low BTW, but man that'* some dicey engineering IMO.Granted, I've been told it'* something all 3.8L V-6 Supercharged engines by GM are know for, but I was a little surprised.

My 97 SE is the same way. Tucked near the firewall just under the alternator.

Quit yer whining and come change the rear bank of spark plugs on my Northstar 4.6L. Wanna talk about cramming things in, look under the hood of a GXP and see how they got a V8 in the Bonneville sideways.

I had to change the plugs on my wifes caravan. Had to take the alt out to change one plug, then put it back and then climb under the van to get the other 2 rear ones.
