Quick question...is there anything stronger than JB Weld out there. I am going to attempt to fix my moon roof and I want to use the strongest stuff possible. Thanks,

That depends on what broke and what material it is. How about more details.

I can't think of anything on the sunroof that wouldn't be best fixed with a replacement part. Would need to know more info though.

I am mjust expecting a temp fix for a class reunion this weekend as I don't have time to take down the headliner and put in new rails...here are pics of the good side (passenger) and the broke side (driver)...

This the only break I can see when I operate the switch...could JB Weld work here or maybe Gorilla glue??

If I am seeing where it broke accurately, I doubt that a simple JB Weld butt joint would hold it even if you meticulously cleaned all the oil and grease from the surfaces to be bonded. There is not much surface area there for the adhesive to get much of a grip.

If it is possible to bond the bottom surfaces near the break to the piece underneath without loss of function, that might work. Or if there is room to attach a repair piece across the top of the break and still have it work. If so, make sure the surfaces are perfectly clean of oil and grease before you try any adhesive.

Thanks Bill...that is what I was affraid of! Guess I will just have to use the venting feature instead. I am assuming that this will be taken care when I do the rail replacement?

Sorry I can't help you there, Mac. But in cases like these, the junkyard is a boy'* best friend. You can learn there how to disassemble it without damaging anything before you start on yours.

I have JB weld, and I wasnt completely impressed with it. It wont hold in that application. Find a replacement piece at a junk yard.
