Intermediate shaft 2000-2005 Bonnevilles
I own 2 2002 Bonnevilles(SLE and SSEi). Both are stock. I have consistenly run into problems with the intermediate shaft on both cars (Feels like the steering wheel is loose). In older days they just replaced it, or lubed it.
Well, Pontiac has received so many complaints the finally came up with a completely new design, and is available now. Check with your local Pontiac dealer. If you scream loud enough, they will probably replace it for free, or at a discount. After 4 months, so far, so good.

Please post these types of issues in the proper mechanical section (in this case 2000-2005).
This section is for Performance (speed and handling improvement) topics.

Do you know it'* a new design? Last year GM came out with a new Intermediate shaft and the discussion was that it is the exact same shaft with a different part number. I took my 03 in and the Service Manager said the same thing. We ended up just lubing it instead.
Is this a newer version of the new version? Pat
