I use GM Pipe Sealant with PTFE, pretty sure you could use it or a Permatex equivalent and not have a problem with it sealing. The rub here is nearly everyone of us that has pulled out the plastic LIM gaskets has found them be be bowed and degraded badly. While they may not be causing a big problem at this point in your car, we suggest changing them out.
Sure you should be able to seal the bolts (do it cold so there'* no pressure in the cooling system. Some of the holes are into the coolant passages. Anyone that'* seen the nasty LIM gaskets would suggest changing them out though. If it were cold out and I didn't have a garage or major problem...I'd use a paper towel to clean it up, see how quick it was leaking and probably let it ride til warmer weather. If it'* leaking bad, I'd reseal a couple bolts and do the LIM in a couple months.
