Default installing the autodim mirror

hey everyone,

im hopefully getting a auto dim mirror with compass for the 2001, mainly cause my flimsy cheap SE one GM installed finally stopped holding itself up, i dont get it.

Anyway where do i get power from to power this thing. I saw a post, but all the pictures are gone. If i have to get to the roof power, whats involved? I know i need to find retained accessory power..on and on. I just dont know where to look and how to get to it.

Lets hope i dont screw this one up
thanks everyone

Getting power is easy. Slide your sunroof open, look down through the headliner to the top of the overhead consol and use a flathead to push in the clips holding it up, and just tap into there.
let us know how it turns out. I might be interested in donig the same thing

use a volt meter.... or a automotive light bulb.. easiest way i have found to see if ya getttin power of not...

or if you have the walnuts... stick the negative on one side of your tounge and the possative on the other...
