Installing a electrochromatic mirror...
I already found this post
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...romatic+mirror
but not really sure what is going on here. I have the FSM for my car. it looks to be that all you would need is 12V power and a ground. Is the wire to reverse really necessary??. I also have another question....my parents blazer has the driver outside mirrors that changes to blue when a bright light hits it......it will do this sometimes in the garage with the car off.....could i just hook the power up to the cig lighter in the overhead console? I never use that outlet anyway....any thoughts?
No sunroof to get power from BUT i do have the connector on the A pillar that leads to the sunroof wiring could i use that?

Cig lighter is fine, that ciruit is 30amp fused if i'm not mistaken. I'd do the reverse setup if you got the time, It makes it go off so you can see while backing up.

Oh i know, i don't use it to backup!
But I can use it to line up the car perfectly backing into the garage at home, i still look back once i'm lined up)
It'd be nice if people use their necks when changing lanes, merging onto the freeway, etc.

Aren't the tinted ones set up for heat? Or maybe, it'* just to make up for the fact that most states don't allow for much tint on the front windows, so it could just be for anti-glare
