Default I need help guys , p0401 egr recirculation

Hey guys, sorry to bring this up again. After doing a weeks worth of search button, I have tried all types of things to fix this. I am getting p0401 (for those that don't no or remember, it'* egr flow recirculation) I clear it and it will come back. My car info is in my signature. I have tried pulling the egr valve and cleaning it. Also pulled the egr tube cleaned that as well. Next I checked and double checked all the vacuum line I just replaced . I do have one concern the T on the top of fpr might be to small for the right amount of air to travel through. (should that matter?) : after wearing out the search button I find that it could be many things I. E map sensor or even o2 sensor. There has to be something else I can try before I go buy un needed sensors. I would like to thank you guys for any help given. I have talked with our local Bonneville grave yard hustler he has to the sensor I need, I'm not sure if it'* time to start buying them. :dontknow:

Im noticing that when i reset the code and driving it will only through a cel when im costing to a stop

Sorry about the poor grammar.

You probably either have carbon blockage in the EGR tube, a cracked EGR tube or a bad EGR valve. If you are sure you have cleaned all the carbon, inspect the EGR tube very closely for cracks. If neither of those are the problem you probably have to replace the EGR valve.

i have taken off both the valve and egr tube and it is very clean an had no cracks at all.
from all the research i have done seams to always be something different than the egr valve . thats the only reason i have mot just put one on.

These fools around here in Detroit don't like to play nice. I got a egr from harofreak we will see. I'm kinda wondering about the vacuum lines I changed some are smaller some are bigger than stock..

And as long as you used vacuum hose, not something else like washer fluid hose. The proper hose is constructed so as to not collapse under vacuum.
