Just for clarification, the 00-01 come with dual heated seats as well. I might be wrong, but also don't think the is any seat difference until you get to the 05 GXP'*.
As for the TC/Heater buttons, I like them in the position for the 00-01, because it leaves me a 'cubby' hole for me cell phone.
(Although I like the cup holder arrangment for the newer ones better)Except for the fact that you get a lower milage car when you get a 03, I really don't think there is that much difference between any of the 00-04. (for example, a 00 with the same miles as a 03 are going to have the same problems (if any), at about the same frequency.) With the exception of the layout of the center console, the part numbers used to build the different years are (99%) the same.

you can change the front blubber mount to a solid motor mount. alot less flex of the engine when under power, less than 1" of flex with a solid mount.
