I have a broken/cracked,right,outside,power rear-view mirror glass with the electric heater in it.I'd need to buy a new glass/mirror,I already have the GM part number for it,.......I was wondering if anyone has changed the glass/mirror.......and is it a difficult process?,.....and is the electrical connection for the heater easy to unplug/plug in or is the connection down inside the mirror pod and/or the front door?Thanks for any info and insight to my problem.

The connection for the heater is simple spade connectors on the back of the glass. When you get the new mirror, you'll see that it simply pops out and pops in. A little extra grease (redistribute what'* there) makes it easier to pop back in.
