New Windshield on the way!!!
On my way back home from the gym this afternoon a construction truck cut me off. After this he proceeded to do 45mph in a 55mph zone and before I could pass him, his tires chucked a rather large stone at me. Cracked my windshield right in the middle of the HUD... I was so pissed at this point that I could have killed the truck driver with my tire iron, but I just took a side road and went on my way home.
Called the Insurance company (zero glass deductible) and the new windsheild will be here Friday. Could have it replaced Wednesday, but that would have required driving into Rochester and seeing as how it'* supposed to be crappy out for the rest of the week (Wednesday on) I'll just let them come to me.
Wish Me Luck!!! Oh and they did ask if I had a HUD so that bit of worrying is out of the way!

Nice. I just recently had mine replaced too. It was so pitted I could hardly see in direct sunlight or oncoming headlights. It feels almost like a new car looking through perfect glass.

Mine was getting that way too. I had a chip about where the rock hit that annoyed the hell out of me. I can't wait for the new one. Until then, I'll be giving my '97 RAM some attention.
