By "shut it off", do you mean turn the system off completely by pressing in the climate control ****?

The blower motor shuts down..the heat slowly flows out. Mainly on the floor.

Well, after alot of research..I have replaced both left and right air mix actuators and the heat stopped.i just added some refrigerant and its cold..I just hope there isnt a big leak..or maybe the sealant in the cans stopped it.

If you are concerned about a leak, make sure that UV dye makes it in to the system as well. You can use one of them all in 1 cans that has oil, stop leak, dye, etc.

It makes it nice, because if it does leak out, you can spot the leak with a black light easily.

Just my luck..there is definitely a very large leak..charged last night and the driver side is a lil warm today already.. What is usually the main part that leaks? For the Bonneville

Ummm... the part letting refrigerant escape?

A common complaint is the compressor, but any part could just as easily be the offender. Like i said, UV dye, black light. Go looking for it at night, there will be no doubt when you find it. A leak that bad may even be visible, but may be hard to spot if you don't know where the leak is.
