Definitely not low voltage - brand new battery in jan/feb, absolutely no starting issues, never gone down or dead. I have noticed a blip once or twice where I had to reset my radio stations so it'* always possible there is some other short or gremlin in the electrical system causing this, but overall it'* been behaving just fine since I've been driving it (March) and no error codes showing up. No messages after battery disconnect/reconnect yesterday.

I guess I can try replacing the physical dash switches as discussed to see if that'* the issue - they SEEM to be working properly and doing all the right things though so this could be a dead end that doesn't change anything as well. I'll call around to local wreckers first to see if I can find a cheap one since this isn't a sure bet! I'm sure I can handle swapping it out, that sounds fairly painless.

If anyone else has any other ideas meanwhile or run into this before then by all means chime in with your thoughts.

Have you removed the ground cable from the battery at the floor pan where it grounds and cleaned the connection?
