I take off my front strut assembly and intended to install a new pair (Monore quick strut). The lower strut mount does not align with knuckle as the strut seems a little bit too long. Is there any way to compress the strut so I can align the mounting point? Or what else I should do, thanks?

Did you try prying down on the lower arm?
Could be the natural position pressure from the bushings
