The controls, on/off and presets stopped working on my '04 SLE'* radio itself.
The display began flashing - unreadable, CD player would not eject. The steering wheel controls all worked so I had my satellite, presets, volume, mute, volume, etc on the wheel. I looked at replacing it, ebay, Best Buy or sending it out for repair. All were too expensive so I've lived with it for almost a year. This week my battery died. After replacing it the radio is completely back to normal! Just in case this is happening to you, try disconnecting the battery. I guess it rebooted!
