The transmission is shot and I have a low mileage 2003 Buick Park Avenue 4T65E transmission which I would like to install in the 2004 Bonneville. I researched the ID Code on the transmissions(Bonneville is 4PAB) and (Buick is 3FF . it looks like everything is the same except the Gear Ratio. The Bonneville is a 2.86 and the Park Avenue is a 3.05. I am wondering if the swap will work and what issues I will have with the different ratio'*. I have the complete Buick and it'* a parts car if that would help me with anything.
