This is amazing.... why didnt they think of this before? Sounds like it happened on accident, but now it would seem that scientists could just duplicate this gene thats in 1% of caucasians

I see 1% of Caucasians having some very lucrative tissue. You know this operation is a leading edge ultra expensive operation. While research spins towards this only the very rich will be getting a "cure". And one that can still be fatal in itself.

i understand that, but with knowledge of HOW to cure, we can use stem cell research or clone this gene i would imagine, and in the future should become cheaper.... Kinda how Henry ford invented the assembly line and the Tin Lizzy for the "Everyday working man"

This is ceratinly a step in the right direction, but it will take a long time before it gets to the point where it will be available to the average person.
