Default Door lock problems

On the 03 it won't lock the doors when I press the lock button on the driver side, the unlock works fine. I know it has the funtion to keep from locking your keys in the car, but my keys aren't in the ignition and the passenger side locks the doors fine. Any guesses.

bj, Does it lock when you use the keyless entry remote? Jim is right, there are functions that are programmable through the Driver Information Center (DIC). What is the status of delayed locking, is it enabled?

Yeah it locks with the remote entry. I believe delayed locking is enabled but it doesn't ding when I lock the doors on the driver side.

You think maybe it could be a faulty switch?
