I'm still having this same problem. I have replaced the MAF and TPS. aftermarket. Car has stalled several times. Usually starts buck up but not til it sits for a while. It will crank fine. I have a SnapOn solus ultra attached. I watched all the readings when this happens and freeze frame. can not take it to one solution. yesterday I replaced the gas filter. It was full of black crud. drove the car 4 miles and it stalled again. I also replaced the tstat as it was only heating to 165. It did throw a code P1626 this time. Not sure if this happened from tryin to restart or if maybe this is the issue. I replaced the key with my spare and drove another 40 miles with no issues. So, Im not sure if this is it but Im hoping it is. Anyone else had this code? It did not turn on the mil. In the past when it stalled it would occasionally start but die within a few seconds or if it idled and I gave a little throttle it would stall. At my wits end here. I refuse to pay GM garage their labor rate to do what Im capable of doing. local dealer diagnosed it first time as TP and MAF and wanted to charge me $575 to do so. I replaced them myself and didn't cure the problem. So much for their Certified GM tech.
