cv axle?

What should a new cv axle installed at a shop cost me, parts and labor? Anyone have an idea?

Depends on what you buy. A remanufactured half-shaft (lifetime warranty) is about $60. A new one could run a lot more. Expect to pay $60-$100 labor to have it installed. So, anywhere from maybe $150 - $350.
