Default Gear/axle ratios questions

I am thinking that this winter I'll drop the tranny out of the 1993 Park Avenue Ultra Supercharged into my 1994 SLE. My SLE has a 3.06 axle ratio. Is that the same as the Park'* tranny? I had the stats at one time, but forgot them.
I am assuming this tranny will work, but am I going to have my computer reprogrammed (gotta get the Superchip reprogrammed from the 2.84 ratio to the 3.06 at least anyhow)?
Thanks in advance,
Stylez

Would the RPO code of the Buick be the same? I think FW2 is the 3.06. (Could be wrong on the code) I have that too

I'm just guessing though. Someone else knows more.

A Superchip will NOT change the Final Drive Ratio BTW! Only a Diff change will do that.

Pontiac Bonneville Transmission Final Drive Ratios:

1987 > ME9 > 2.73R
1988 > ME9 > 2.73R / 2.84R
1989 > ME9 > 2.84R
1990 > ME9 > 2.84R
1991 > ME9 > 2.84R
1992 > M13 > 3.06R / 2.97R / 2.84R
1993 > M13 > 3.06R / 2.97R / 2.84R
1994 > M13 > 3.06R / 2.97R / 2.84R
1995 > M13 > 3.06R / 2.97R / 2.84R
1996 > M13 > 3.06R / 2.84R / 2.93R
1997 > M13 > 3.06R / 2.84R & MN7 > 2.93R
1998 > M15 > ?.??R & MN3 > 2.86R & MN7 > 2.93R
1999 > M15 > ?.??R & MN3 > 2.86R & MN7 > 2.93R
2000 > MN3 > 2.86R / 3.05R & MN7 > 2.93R
2001 > MN3 > 2.86R / 3.05R & MN7 > 2.93R
2002 > MN3 > 2.86R / 3.05R & MN7 > 2.93R
2003 > MN3 > 2.86R / 3.05R & MN7 > 2.93R

Where would you look to find out what code you have?

Look at the RPO sticker underneath your spare tire cover in the trunk

2000 > MN3 > 2.86R / 3.05R & MN7 > 2.93R
So, I am assuming that the MN3 is only for the SE & SLE Models right? Because I am pretty sure you can only get the SSEi with a 2.93 final drive. Correct?

Thanks, cause my engine was replaced a while back, but the trans is still the same. I'll check it out later.
